Volunteers are the heart of our program and are critical to the continued success of The HORSES HELPING HEROES Project. Without their dedication, loyalty and hard work, it would not be possible for us to fulfill our mission. We are grateful for each and every one of our volunteers who selflessly offer their service and support to make our program what it is today.

We have many different volunteer opportunities available. Some require horse experience, but many do not. The HORSES HELPING HEROES Project needs volunteers to:

• Act as onsite horseleaders, sidewalkers and team members working directly with our veteran participants

• Assist the Board of Directors in planning and carrying out fundraising events

• Help us care for our horses and maintain our facility as a stable volunteer.

• Share any special talents you may have in areas such as journalism, event planning or any other skill you think might help us help veterans.
